HALLOWEEN TREAT
KEN STACK READS EDGAR ALLAN POE Ken Stack trained at the Theatre Arts Conservatory at Webster College (now Webster University). Ken received his B.A. cum laude in 1974. He first came to Maine that same year as an actor at the Acadia Repertory Theatre in Somesville on Mt. Desert Island. This is when he fell in love with Maine. Although his career took him down to New York and to many regional theatres, he was sure that someday he would return to Maine. This finally happened in 1982, when he returned to the Acadia Repertory Theatre as artistic director.
Since that time, he has worked for most of the theatre organizations in central and eastern Maine, including the Acadia Rep, the Penobscot Theatre, the Grand Auditorium, the Belfast Maskers and the Bangor Community Theatre. Ken has appeared in over 400 professional productions and directed over 200 plays and musicals. He is currently teaching at the New England School of Communications of Husson University, where he serves as a senior faculty instructor for the Entertainment Production degree program. Ken lives in Bangor, with his wife, Kim and daughter Adrienne. |

The evening will conclude with a brief overview of the work that remains to be done with time for a question and answer period. |
